Topmate or a store of your own: where should you sell digital products?
If you sell your time, stay on Topmate. If you sell files, give them a store. Topmate is built around calls, priority DMs and sessions, with digital products added to the same profile. A store is built around the files.
Plenty of creators do both: a booking page for calls, and a store linked from it for everything that downloads. Here is how the two compare on a file sale.

What a file sale leaves you on Stashq
Per sale, after GST and payment processing. The higher figure is a UPI payment, the lower a card.
A ₹499 sale
- FreeNo monthly fee · Stashq margin 8%
- ₹375.80 – ₹387.80
- Creator₹499 a month · Stashq margin 3%
- ₹396.94 – ₹408.94
- Pro₹1,499 a month · No Stashq margin
- ₹409.63 – ₹421.63
After 18% GST, which Stashq pays, and payment processing. The higher figure is a UPI payment, the lower a card.
What a store does that a booking page does not
- Your catalogue, designed. Every product on one page at yourname.stashq.in, in a look you set in the editor — not a list under your call slots.
- Big files. Up to 64 GB per product, with uploads that pick up where they stopped.
- Invoices you never write. Stashq sells to the buyer as merchant of record and sends them a GST invoice.
- Refund windows per product. None, 3 days or 7 days, and your earnings from a sale are held only until its window closes.
- Offers. Coupon codes and automatic discounts, store-wide or on chosen products, with limits and end dates.
Questions
How much does Topmate take on a digital product?
10% of sales through your own profile or link, and 20% of sales from Topmate's own discovery pages, with payment gateway charges and GST on its fees on top. The same rates apply to calls.
Should I leave Topmate if I sell calls too?
Not necessarily. Topmate is built for selling your time. Many creators keep their booking page and give their files a store of their own — link to it from your Topmate profile.
Can I sell calls or sessions on Stashq?
No. Stashq sells downloadable files only — templates, notes, presets, packs, code. There is no booking or calendar.
When does Stashq pay me?
Per sale, to your bank account, once the product's refund window closes — straight away for a product with no refund window. There is no minimum.
