Gumroad works in India now. Buyers here can pay by UPI, and many card payments are charged in rupees. If that was your reason to leave, it no longer holds.

The differences that matter week to week
- A fixed charge hurts cheap products. Gumroad adds $0.50 to every sale, plus $0.30 for processing. On a ₹99 or ₹199 product that is a large share of the price. Stashq takes a percentage only, and none at all on Pro.
- You are paid per sale, not per batch. Stashq sends each sale to your bank when its refund window closes, with no balance to build up first. Gumroad pays weekly once you pass $100.
- Bigger files fit. Footage, sample libraries and project files that pass 20 GB per file upload to Stashq as one file.
When Gumroad is still the better choice
If most of your buyers are outside India. Stashq prices and charges in rupees only, and Gumroad's Discover can bring you buyers you would not reach yourself — at 30% of each of those sales.

Yes, for buyers in India. Gumroad says its checkout shows local payment methods by the buyer's location, and names UPI for India. Eligible card payments can also be charged in rupees.

How does Gumroad pay sellers in India?

Can I sell on both?
